Sedar #1 and some music to stay awake to

Posted by blk1 on April 3, 2007

Passover began again tonight at the home of a cousin of Zehava’s.  She is rich in cousins and family and even though I don’t speak much at these events, I have come to love and feel totally comfortable in them.  I love the love and the food and the graciousness that they weclome us with.  They are a large and loyal family and it’s a celebration just to be with them.

And when we got home around 11, Tuvia knew I would need to play for a while, just to hear where I got to today.  I raced for the pj’s and my guitar and I felt great playing.  Tuvia sat near me and listened with his eyes closed.  He is still feelings his cold, but he is almost back to normal. and my playing,  I was in charge.  I want to be in charge when I play with an audience.  I can be nervous and make mistakes, but I was to be in control of my guitar and be able to make eye contact and control the speed.  That’s all.  And I want to sound good, really good.

That’s all.  It’s just about pleasure.

Gym in the AM, Passover in Eville in the PM.  Guitar in between.  I wish I could just play whenever and wherever we go…not yet.
