Comment Challenge 08 Is Over, So What’s Next?

Do we need a new challenge? There’s Memoir Mondays, Slice of Life Tuesdays, Boil Down Your Week for Sundays.
So why not?
I would love to begin something fresh, something that involves images and text. I have a new blog for that but I’d love to share this passion with an online community.
I wonder, anyone out there reading this and interested?
How about PHOTO FRIDAYS, an image and some text????

I’m interested. I’m not sure how to frame this idea, but I”m sure you carry your camera around with you. Mine is always in the car – just in case I come across that photo that has to be taken. What about some sort of event where we keep our eyes open for those stories that demand a photo, and post something like your week in a photo or I don’t know. But to add some sort of challenge aspect to it, maybe include different sorts of photos. Like a day through the macrolens, or panoramic Tuesday, or the sky at six AM for some period of time. Maybe someone would like to build on this idea?

How about Photo Fridays. We can create a group on Flickr. Do you have an account yet? It’s a great spot for photo lovers. Free and then there’s pro account for $25.00 a year for my storage.
Once a week a photo and some text.
What do you think?

Hey, when I responded on Twitter, I didn’t realize that YOU wanted to start a group… I thought it was already in existence. Anyway, it’s a good idea but I’m not feeling up to the committment. Can’t wait to see how it unfolds, though!

Flickr Fridays sounds great!
I am up for this and do have a flickr account. I used to be addicted to it – but lately have been “OD’ing” on edublogs!
I agree about some sort of framing idea as Lynne suggests. maybe just a sentence starter like “This week I…” accompanied by a photo? OK, here is a “maybe too stilted” Writing Project idea – The Write Picture – an image of writing (open to interpretation!) or people writing from that week?
But I am open to anything – or nothing… meaning keeping it totally open is OK too.

My original comment (which doesn’t seem to show up even unmoderated) was saying that I would love to do Photo Fridays. I agree about some frame as Lynn suggested. How about This week I… or – ready for a Writing Project focus??!! – how about This Week in Writing meaning images of writing itself or writing going on – or leave it open to interpretation! My apologies if this message occurs twice…
