I agree about some sort of framing idea as Lynne suggests. maybe just a sentence starter like "This week I..." accompanied by a photo? OK, here is a "maybe too stilted" Writing Project idea - The Write Picture - an image of writing (open to interpretation!) or people writing from that week? What about some sort of event where we keep our eyes open for those stories that demand a photo, and post something like your week in a photo or I don't know. But to add some sort of challenge aspect to it, maybe include different sorts of photos. Like a day through the macrolens, or panoramic Tuesday, or the sky at six AM for some period of time.
