Recently, (two days ago) I started using my Twitter account in earnest. I’ve been signed up for a while but not quite sure what it was all about. I am still not feeling totally comfortable with it, but it has opened another door on the web for social networking and with my edublog platform well established, I read the post below on Kevin’s blog that both of us read a bit about from Sue Waters as she was Twittering away.

I found myself drawn to a young girl named Brooklyn. Now how perfect is that? Brooklyn is part of my backyard so to speak. So Brooklyn if you are reading this, I can’t wait to hear more about you, but your name is a winner for sure. In fact, I was recently visiting my brother in Brooklyn, New York. Any connection?
