OK, I see that my previous post appeared with the right avatar. Now I'm trying it again just to check if it works when I am not logged in. Oh the things I can get stuck on! Thanks for letting me do this - "learning by doing" requires patient friends like you!

Hi Bonnie! Whenever I want to improve my site (ever so slowly though) I always look at yours for guidance! I am now curious how I can change the way my avatar appears when I post on your site - does it pick up the avatar from my own edublog site based on the email address? I'm a bit confused...but as I am currently signed in, maybe this message will appear with the correct personal avatar and not the "standard" one that appeared on my other posting a while back. I know - go outside Grace! It's gorgeous. So, I will head down to Riverside Park and take a look at the river... Thanks for your advice and guidance!

Great conversation today - really got the wheels churning, though you can likely tell by the fact that I'm here "visiting." Thanks for the enthusiasm, and I'm looking forward to learning more! - michelle

This is great, Bonnie. I'm still trying to sort out what I want to write. I really like the idea of the invitation over a 'policy.' I get that there can be a need for a policy, but I'm still shying away from it.
